Our Mission
Learn About How We Enrich the Lives of Older Adults
20+
Years Of Experience
Senior Community Connections is a non-profit organization that helps older adults (ages 55+) in the Lake Norman area remain independent and engaged in their community. Our members live in a variety of residences including single family homes and apartments, senior housing, and continuing care communities. Some live alone, while others live with family members or in group settings.
Through a trusted network of vetted volunteers, Senior Community Connection provides assistance with transportation, technology support, personal advocacy and information, minor household repairs, friendly visits and calls, and help with day-to-day errands. Members and their families have peace of mind knowing that local support is only ‘a phone call away’.

"The volunteers and members were an informal welcome wagon when I moved to Davidson! Friendly visits from board members bearing treats and local news were much appreciated. I strongly suggest that any senior or senior couple become acquainted with the many kinds of services available.”

“Senior Community Connections has changed Dad’s life. They have given him a purpose and belonging he’s never had before. He considers the volunteers his friends. He knows them. He shares stories with them. He tells me about their lives and their families. When he talks about them it’s real and it’s special.”
