Town of Davidson Programs

Civics 101: Civics 101 is a ten-week citizens’ academy designed to educate, inform, and entertain residents interested in learning more about the Town of Davidson municipal government.  The class runs annually February through April.


Davidson Senior Scholars: Once a month, typically the third Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m at Davidson Town Hall for Town of Davidson sponsors a lecture on a current topic of interest to the seniors in our community. Davidson Learns: Davidson Learns offers classes and learning opportunities to enhance the intellectual, social, and cultural life of senior adults.

Adopt-A-Grandfriend – Volunteers are paired with senior citizens in the Davidson community. They sponsor monthly programs that facilitate relationships between students and seniors.

Senior Theatre – Senior Theatre is a readers theatre program that partners DCP with the Pines. This four-week process yields an entertaining show that is open to the Pines residents.
